AWWA awarded SAFETY Act for its Standards Development Process

September 3, 2021: AWWA Receives SAFETY Act Designation

Aluma would like to congratulate our client the American Water Works Association (AWWA) in securing a renewal of its SAFETY Act Designation for its Standards Development Process. Aluma is proud to have served our clients in setting the path toward successfully achieving SAFETY Act from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. AWWA is the only Standards Development Organization (accredited by the American National Standards Institute) to achieve SAFETY Act for its process for developing standards which set forth the minimum requirements of products and processes used in water supply and treatment to help provide safe drinking water and sanitation of a water supply.
