Aluma is excited to announce that it will be speaking at the International Association of Venue Managers’ (IAVM) Virtual VenueConnect 2020 Conference. The conference will be hosted by IAVM on a virtual platform from October 26-30, 2020.
For 95 years, IAVM has brought together public assembly managers and venue staff from across the globe for its Annual VenueConnect Conference and Tradeshow. This year, IAVM will be delivering over 34 hours of targeted education sessions for public assembly venue managers and staff specifically tailored for amphitheaters, arenas, convention centers, fairgrounds, performing arts theaters, stadiums, and universities, to both members and non-members alike.
Akmal Ali will be presenting on Monday, October 26, 2020 from 6:00-8:00pm on a panel titled, "Health, Safety & Security Thought Leadership Forum". Akmal joins other Industry experts to address issues related to operating venues in a post COVID-19 pandemic world. The 2 hour session will include discussions on Legal issues, Health and Security measures, analyzing strategic Human Resource issues, and the implementation of a venue accreditation program on sanitization and deep cleaning.
