December 1, 2024: New York Islanders Receives SAFETY Act Designation

Aluma would like to congratulate our clients Oak View Group and the New York Islanders for successfully achieving SAFETY Act Designation for its UBS Arena Protective Design Program. Aluma is proud to have served our clients in pursuing their SAFETY Act award from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Oak View Group and the New York Islanders only the fourth arena to actively maintain SAFETY Act protections. This SAFETY Act Designation is unique in that it recognizes Oak View Group and the New York Islanders for the significant planning and investment made toward protective design measures implemented in the structural design and systems architecture and the methodology used by a qualified and experienced group of security personnel that develops, evaluates, implements, and maintains those measures at UBS Arena. With this award, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security recognizes the significant efforts that Oak View Group and the New York Islanders have made to keep fans safe.
