Aluma CEO provides training for amusement park safety and security professionals at AIMS International annual conference

Aluma Helps Lead Academy of Amusement Risk Management, Safety and Security held on January 13-17, 2025 in Orlando, Florida.

Aluma is proud to announce its participation in leading the development of a first-of-its-kind security training curriculum for safety and security professionals in the amusement park industry. In addition to serving as a faculty member, Aluma founder & CEO, Akmal Ali helped develop the curriculum and content in addition to identifying key industry stakeholders to serve as faculty members.

In response to a recognized need in the amusement industry for specific and in-depth safety education and certification, AIMS International has created the Academy of Amusement Risk Management, Safety and Security (AARMSS), a structured curriculum designed to elevate your program.

Based on the following foundational pillars: Safety, Security, Emergency Management and Risk Management, the AARMSS curriculum is specifically designed to educate and equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage an amusement industry safety, security, and risk management program.

AARMSS courses are unique to the Academy and cannot be found anywhere else in the AIMS International educational network nor at any other amusement industry educational seminar. The courses will be taught by subject matter experts from both within the industry as well as professionals from outside agencies which specialize in the course topics.

Safety and Security are the primary focus of year one with the second-year agenda dedicated to Emergency and Risk Management. The target audience for the conference are security directors and operators for professional sports and entertainment venues and teams, including facility and stadium managers, event planners/operators, law enforcement personnel, emergency managers, fire/hazmat, emergency medical/health services, athletic administrators, and governmental representatives.
